Our Fundraising Approach
Black Arts Vancouver is committed to building sustainable funding streams that allow us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and move closer to our vision of a permanent multi-use space for Black creative expression. Our fundraising efforts are guided by our values of community responsibility, transparency, and long-term relationship building.
What Your Support Funds
Free Youth Programming
All workshops, classes, and events remain free for Pan-African youth and families. Funding covers program design, facilitation, and all materials.
Artist Support
We pay fair fees to Black Artists who facilitate workshops, lead programs, and share their expertise. Supporting artists means supporting our community.
Supplies & Materials
Every workshop includes quality art supplies. From paint to fabric, clay to digital tools—we provide what is needed to create masterpieces.
Exhibition Opportunities
Funding allows us to mount exhibitions, host opening receptions, and create visibility for Black artists in our community.
Community Outreach
Reaching families outside of Vancouver through marketing, communications, and transportation support for those who need it.
